AVAST!
Note: Please pardon the break from Proper Pirate Protocol for this page. Since this page concerns your money, we wanted to be certain that there were no misunderstandings.
Team Wench would like to express our joy, amazement, wonder, and thanks. Together, we raised over $15,500 this year to fight breast cancer.
Ever since the Feast's inception, tickets have sold quickly. Team Wench has developed these rules
in an effort to be as fair as possible to everyone wishing to attend.
Questions regarding ticket sales should be asked before tickets are purchased. By purchasing
tickets to the Event, you agree to be bound by these rules.
- Modifications (if any) made to these rules since
the date of the ticket sale are indicated by a square bullet point. These modifications do
not indicate changes in policy, merely clarifications in existing policy. A summary of these
changes can be found at the bottom of this page.
-
- All ticket
sales were transacted
via TicketLeap.™
- Early Bird tickets:
... were only available until
Wed., January 27 (11:59 p.m.).
- Regular tickets:
... were only available until
Wed., February 24 (6:00 p.m.).
- When ticket sales commence, a link to the sale will be available from both a link at the top of this page and a notice sent to the Team Wench Events mailing list.
- If you don't want to use TicketLeap, please find a friend who will use it for you.
Tickets are not being sold through any other venue.
- There is no upper limit on the number of tickets that a single individual may purchase,
so long as they follow all of the rules regarding their purchases.
- Entertainment provided at this event contains lyrics with mature themes. This event is
recommended for people 18 and over. Anyone under the age of 18 will not be admitted
unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- All tickets must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
- Any ticketholder who provides their email address will be given the opportunity to join
a private e-mail discussion list. List invitations will be sent out shortly after all
tickets are paid.
-
- Refund requests should be sent to the Ticket Chair.
- Refunds requested by February 20, 2010 will be credited back to the original purchaser, less the
transaction fees charged by TicketLeap. These fees will total aproximately 15-20% of the ticket
price -- none of which is retained by Team Wench. Processing of refunds will occur within five
business days of the request.
- Partial refunds (e.g., someone buys four tickets and only needs three) may be requested in
accordance with the rest of this section. The handling fee will only apply to the ticket(s)
being refunded, not to the original amount.
- Absolutely no refund requests will be accepted after 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2010.
- All refunded tickets will be returned to TicketLeap for resale.
-
- No one will be admitted without a printed ticket from TicketLeap.
- Bring yer ID - all adult guests must also bring a
valid government-issued photo ID. Guests who will not be consuing alcohol
will be wrist banded and granted entrance to the event. Minor children
must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Guests 21 & over who elect
to consume alcohol at the event will be given a different color wrist
band upon age verification to permit the consumption of alcohol.
- Souvenir tickets will be distributed at check-in on the evening of the Feast.
-
- No changes have been made to the ticket policies at this time.
Note: Every year, there are a new set of complaints about the way that ticket sales are handled, usually (though not exclusively)
by those unable to get tickets of their own. We will likely never be able to break this cycle, but please keep in mind that we
are doing what we can to ensure the most fair method of ticket distribution to everyone who is interested in attending.
